Uptown Jazzin'

Uptown Jazzin’ is an eclectic mix of singers and personalities whose main objective is to ensure their audience is "having fun." All are members of Sweet Adelines International.

Honing the art of 4-part a capella singing in the barbershop style is a weekly event, always mixed with laughter and friendship, and a new song or two. A little splash of Jazz, some Blues, mixed with some Broadway, Doo Wop and anything in between. You will find them lending their support to their community whenever possible, or singing at birthdays, anniversaries and corporate events.

Competing in the Lake Ontario Region 16 in Syracuse, N.Y. saw them take home a 5th place medal in April 2006 and they are looking forward to competing again.

Along with being singers, these busy women are wives, moms, grandmoms, and working gals but are always ready, willing and able to share their love of music with the community and their friends.
