Support Us

You can support Canadian Showtime Chorus in a number of ways. One of the best ways is simply buying yourself (and maybe a few others – they make great gifts!) a ticket to come to our shows and enjoy a great evening of entertainment. If you've already been to a show, we thank you for your support and ask you to tell your friends about us – you can be confident that every time we step on the stage we are bringing our very best performance.

We are a non-profit organization and we gratefully accept donations or grants that support women and the arts. We also have various fundraising projects, and the one we're doing now combines two of our favourite things: the chorus, and shopping!

Funscrip is a loyalty and gift card program that has dozens of national, regional and local stores in their program – places where you're already doing your shopping. By using Fundscrip, your everyday shopping can generate funds for Canadian Showtime Chorus (and we promise we won't be showing up at your door trying to sell you magazine subscriptions or raffle tickets!)

Sponsorship

We are looking for companies or organizations who want to be associated with world-class Canadian excellence through our sponsorship program. For many years we have appreciated the sponsorship and support we have obtained from the city (both the City of Ottawa and the City of Nepean before that).

Who are you?

We are 100 talented, energetic women who live in the greater Ottawa area, from Orleans to Perth.
We are educated, articulate and competitive, aged from our mid-30s to over 80.
We are teachers, nurses, professionals, lawyers, small business owners, mothers and grandmothers, with children and grandchildren ranging in age from infants to adults.
We speak several languages, and are used to travelling as a group.
We love to sing, dance, perform and be the best we can be!

Together, we are Canadian Showtime Chorus, a chartered member since 1984 of Sweet Adelines International, an international organization of more than 28,000 women singers, committed to advancing the musical art form of a capella barbershop harmony through education and performance. Of over 600 choruses worldwide, we are currently ranked in the Top 20. We are one of the best and getting better all the time!!

Why should I include Canadian Showtime Chorus in my budget for sponsorship?

As a Canadian chorus, we fall into the Arts category. Most organizations include donations to the arts in their corporate policies and budgets. Your company would be seen as providing local support to an International arts team.

How much would I spend?

Yearly Sponsor - $2500. We would recognize you in our Chorus advertising materials.
Event Sponsor – This could range from $500 to transport our choral risers, to $20K to fund our Centrepointe Show, with public recognition of your company’s sponsorship at the event and in related advertising materials.
Donation Sponsor – This could range from advertising in our Show Program ($40), to replacing our choral risers ($25K).
